OUR STORY

Lifeline Wellness Institute is a Seventh-day Adventist self-supporting ministry institution where people come to learn how to implement a healthy lifestyle. It is not a treatment center, but rather an educational center for medically stable individuals looking for a lifestyle change. It is a place where participants spend two weeks living and learning the principles of holistic health. The foundation of the program is the application of the eight natural remedies—air, sunlight, rest, exercise, good nutrition, temperance, water, and trust in Divine power.

Our Philosophy

After experiencing a total transformation from life-threatening diseases by using God’s natural remedies, Peter Carstens, a German agricultural engineer, was compelled to share these principles with others suffering from health problems. This is how he founded the Lifeline project back in 2002.

Lifeline Wellness Institute has taught and influenced thousands of people all over the world on how to get to the root of their health issues instead of addressing individual symptoms. It has also empowered them to live according to God’s purposes and to become agents of change in their circle of influence.

OUR PROGRAMS

THE NATURAL REMEDIES WE USE

We believe that there are many ways of practicing the healing art, but there is only one way that Heaven approves. God's remedies are the simple agencies of nature that will not tax or debilitate the system through their powerful properties. These are some of the therapies we use:

  1. Nutrition: We believe that when the body is nourished with simple food, the body has the capability to rejuvenate your body and avoid diseases. Food should be simple but prepared in an appetizing manner.
  2. Exercise: Exercise allows the body and mind to strengthen and energize. It gives the blood the ability to expel the impurities and vitalize the whole body.
  3. Water: Water balances "nature." It balances the functions of the body inside. Further, it invigorates and cleanses the outside. We believe that the proper and effective use of water both inside and outside restores the healthy balance of your entire being.
  4. Sunshine: The Sun does not only bring warmth and light to the earth, but proper sunshine has also an energizing effect on the body’s functions and helps with the body’s processes, calming the nerves and allowing for sound sleep.
  5. Temperance (Balanced Life): "But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified." 1 Corinthians 9:27.
  6. Rest: "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." Mat 11: 28-30.
  7. Air: We believe that to have good blood, we must breathe well. Pure air fills the lungs with oxygen and purifies the blood. A good respiration soothes the nerves, stimulates good digestion, and induces sound and refreshing sleep.
  8. Trust in God: "But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." - Jeremiah 17:7-8.
